hyperrealist and figurative artist

Art in my life is an undeniable, twofold gift that I’ve grown to greatly cherish: when I create, the process itself is for my sake, for my joy; but, the end result is always for the sake of others. I always want for my artworks to connect with the parts of people’s lives where they have overcome or are experiencing challenges and, too, what I create is often those emotional and spiritual experiences masked in beautiful aesthetics – much like how people wear public masks to hide their personal pains. If looking at something I’ve drawn or painted makes someone feel that they are understood or lifts their countenance, then I have accomplished my goal.
